The Newman Fellowship

John Henry NewmanThe Newman Fellowship is a family-based group made up principally of converts and reverts to the Catholic faith. Individuals or families at all stages of their initiation or reception into the Church are welcome.

The Newman fellowship is also open to “Cradle Catholics,” especially those seeking to deepen or rediscover their faith.

The Newman Fellowship sponsors regular gatherings of its associates at local parish Churches at which members gather together and participate in different activities such as:

  • Presentations by notable speakers
  • Conversion testimonies from converts to Catholicism and cradle Catholics
  • Liturgy & Prayer
  • Wine, cheese & light fare
  • Discussion, socializing, and networking
  • Book studies and fellowship groups

The Newman Fellowship is not meant to supplant R.C.I.A. preparation or involvement in one’s own parish. Rather, we seek to provide a community of support and fellowship for those who wish to share the experience of their journey into the Church with others, and to learn more about the Catholic faith.

The transition into the Church is not the same for everyone, and is often met with doubts, second-guessing and opposition from friends and family. Participation in the Newman Fellowship can ease this transition, and help its members live their Catholic faith more deeply.

If you would like to join us at the next Newman Fellowship event, please fill out the required RSVP form and let us know you are coming and with how many guests. All are welcome!
